On Demand Workshop: Cultivating Self-Love – A Four-Week Course Integrating Buddhist Practice, Yoga Therapy and Neuroplasticity

Price range: £40.00 through £80.00

This four-part self-love meditation course explores how genuine self-love emerges through changes in nervous system state rather than through affirmation, willpower, or positive thinking alone.

Led by Heather Mason, the course draws on Buddhist practice, yoga therapy, self-compassion meditation, and contemporary neuroscience to examine the conditions that make warmth, connection, and kindness towards ourselves more available.

Designed as a cumulative series, each session builds on the last through a combination of yoga postures, breathwork, and loving kindness meditation practices. Home practice is encouraged throughout, allowing participants to deepen their experience through repetition and consistency over time.

Please choose the rate that best reflects your circumstances: Concession (£40), Full Rate (£50), and Pay It Forward (£80) all include access to the course.
The Pay It Forward option allows you to attend yourself whilst gifting a complimentary place to someone of your choosing.

If you are newer to yoga and breathwork, we recommend beginning with the Yoga Therapy for Anxiety series. It is designed to move practitioners through the material in a sequence that reflects how the nervous system and mind gradually change and become ready for deeper practice.

Description

Course Overview

Drawing on both contemplative traditions and modern understandings of neuroplasticity, the course explores how sustained practice can gradually support a different relationship with ourselves and our internal experience.

Learning Focus

This course explores how yoga, meditation, and nervous system regulation can be applied in a structured and progressive way to cultivate self-love and self-compassion. Areas of focus include:

  • Understanding the relationship between nervous system state and self-love
  • Exploring how self-compassion meditation and loving kindness meditation influence our capacity for connection
  • Developing practical breathwork and movement-based tools that support nervous system regulation
  • Learning how contemplative traditions have approached self-love and self-compassion for centuries
  • Understanding the role of neuroplasticity in creating lasting change
  • Building familiarity with practices through repetition and progressive development
  • Developing a sustainable personal practice grounded in direct experience

Pricing

Minded’s pricing is designed to make these courses accessible to as many people as possible. With that in mind, we offer three rates:
  • Full Rate: £50
  • Concession: £40 for those who need a reduced rate.
  • Pay It Forward: £80 for those who would like to attend the course and gift a complimentary place to someone of their choosing, perhaps someone who could use a little more self-love in their life. This rate is available to anyone who is able to pay the full price and wishes to give that gift to another person. After purchase, simply reply to your order confirmation email with the recipient’s name, email address, and, if you wish, a short personal message. We will arrange access for them separately.
If you would like to gift more than one complimentary place, please get in touch at accounts@themindedinstitute.com, and we will make personal arrangements with you.
